Argo was founded in 2000 when it opened offices in London and Cyprus. Since then it has opened new offices in Argentina and Singapore. In addition Argo Real Estate Opportunities Fund (“AREOF”) operates from offices in Romania and Ukraine. This wide geographical reach allows Argo to source deal flow and carry out detailed due diligence on prospective and existing investments through the establishment of local networks of banks, brokers and company owners. Argo is incorporated in the Isle of Man and is not subject to the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers. The rights of shareholders may be different from the rights of shareholders in a UK incorporated company.
